AC Shadows Unveils Unexpected AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a surprising partnership that defies conventional forecasts, the game developer has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Uncovered
According to the authorized release, "A strange meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of forbidden practices and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline introduces a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden sect.
The adventure centers on "peculiar tests and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Transformations
The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Additional Features
Players who finish the adventure will receive an exclusive katana in addition to numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
