Without star figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a commanding result that all but secures them a spot in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
Another three points in their upcoming match against Finnish KuPS ought to be sufficient to secure direct passage to the knockout stages, particularly after a prior stumble against Strasbourg.

The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one attempt strike off both posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also missed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still scope for improvement in his game.
The only worry for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, capping an otherwise positive evening for the traveling side.
